Now that Daylight Savings Time has started, we値l add weekday practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We meet around 5:15 PM and hopefully can launch by 5:30 PM. Please remember we are temporarily practicing at Sand Point and you値l need to adjust for the heavier traffic in that area at the end of the work day. We値l still practice on Saturday mornings at 9:00 AM. Please dress appropriately and be ready for changing weather as we still have another two months of cold, wet, and windy weather before our Spring is really in bloom. I still need more of you to complete your registration for the season. For those who did commit to me that you will be racing this season, we need to renew membership with USAC/K, meaning to complete another membership form, and waiver form, plus a check for $30. This needs to be done through me as we register and renew as a club, so on-line renewal doesn稚 work at the same price. Needless to say, you値l need to keep your Wakinikona Hawaiian Club membership active, so you can either do that with the club treasurer or get it to me at one of our practices. Ideally, we need all registrations to be in order by our first race 葉he Rusty Iron in Portland, Oregon on April 24th. The contractor has made great progress in the initial week of work at Waterway 18. If you can, swing by periodically to see the progress in this improvement project, and start envisioning how this will look when done and what it would mean to us as we malama our beach. The contractor痴 work needs to be done by April 15th, and we値l be allowed to move back shortly after that date. I知 anticipating we値l repeat and reverse the move plan that we used to get to Sand Point, no sooner than Saturday April 17th, with a Plan B to do it on May 1st. We値l again need maximum attendance as there is much to do in moving our wa誕 and other gear, not to mention cleaning up at Sand Point.
